Online Courses
Refund Policy
Due to the fact that materials we must purchase for online courses are non-refundable, tuitions purchased for online courses will be refunded their purchase amount minus a $200 materials fee as long as the request is made prior to the scheduled Zoom Date of the order.
Transfer Policy
The online Certified Pool and Spa Operator Course is non-transferable. All materials are linked to each specific student and can't to be transferred to another person other than the student named on the Pool and Hot Tub Alliance portal.
Rescheduling Policy
1 free reschedule of your virtual Zoom® class & exam date is provided as long as the request is made at least 7 days prior to your exam date. Any schedule changes within 7 days of your scheduled class date will be charged a $50 rescheduling fee.
Anyone rescheduling is required to attend a virtual Zoom® class & exam within 30 days of the originally scheduled exam date. Only 1 exam date change per student is allowed.
Please Note Failure to send the certificate of completion proving you have completed the required PHTA® video module series, if requested by Pool Training Academy, before your scheduled exam date and time will also result in the $50 rescheduling fee.
Credit Policy
If you have negotiated a credit with Pool Training Academy for a student's tuition fee, you must use that credit within 6 months of the original course date. After the 6 month period, the credit will expire.
No Show Policy:
A student failing to attend a scheduled Zoom & exam date without prior notice will be subject to forfeiture of their tuition fee.
In-Person Courses
If you would like to reschedule a class you have until 14 days PRIOR to your class date to reschedule at no additional charge. Any schedule changes within 14 days of your scheduled class will be charged a $100 rescheduling fee.
You must attend a class within 90 days of your original scheduled class or, in select locations, the next available class in that area. Only 1 class date change per student.
Tuition fees be refunded 100% up to 48 hours after purchase. Any cancellation after 48 hours of purchase will be refunded their purchase amount minus a $100 class reservation fee. This is due to the fact that after 48 hours we have to pay for all registered students in advance when we reserve rooms.
No Show: A student failing to attend their scheduled class without prior notice, will be subject to forfeiture of their tuition fee.
